Vabariigi Valitsus — Eesti Vabariigi ja Läti Vabariigi viisaküsimustes esindamise kokkuleppe muutmise kokkulepe — RT II, 2010, 6, 16

Välisministeeriumi teadaanne välislepingu jõustumise kohta Vabariigi Valitsuse 11.02.2010. a korraldus nr 45 kokkuleppe muutmise kohta Välisministeeriumi teadaanne välislepingu lõppemise kohta Sõlmitud nootide vahetamise teel, jõustus 15. veebruaril 2010. a Nr 08.2-1/667 VERBAALNOOT Eesti Vabariigi Välisministeerium avaldab lugupidamist Läti Vabariigi Välisministeeriumile ning viidates viimase 29. detsembri 2009 noodile nr 43/8364-8388 ja 27. märtsil 2008 nootide vahetamise teel sõlmitud Eesti Vabariigi ja Läti Vabariigi viisaküsimustes esindamise kokkuleppele, on tal au teatada järgmist. Ministeeriumil on au teha ettepanek muuta viidatud kokkulepet järgmiselt. Nende kolmandate riikide nimekirja, kus Läti Eestit viisaküsimustes esindab, lisatakse Egiptus. Kokkuleppe teine lõik sõnastatakse järgmiselt: «Välisministeerium teeb kooskõlas Schengeni õigustikuga ettepaneku, et Läti esindab Eestit viisaküsimustes Aserbaidžaanis (Bakuu), Egiptuses (Kairo), Kasahstanis (Astana) ja Usbekistanis (Toshkent).» Kui Läti pool nõustub nimetatud ettepanekuga, teeb Eesti pool ettepaneku, et see noot ja Läti poole vastusnoot moodustavad 27. märtsil 2008 nootide vahetamise teel sõlmitud Eesti Vabariigi ja Läti Vabariigi viisaküsimustes esindamise kokkuleppe muutmise kokkuleppe. Eesti pool teeb ettepaneku, et käesolev kokkulepe jõustub 15. veebruaril 2010. Eesti Vabariigi Välisministeerium kasutab avanenud võimalust, et veel kord avaldada Läti Vabariigi Välisministeeriumile sügavaimat austust. Lisa: kontaktandmed. 11. veebruaril 2010 Tallinnas Nr 43/915 Läti Vabariigi Välisministeerium avaldab lugupidamist Eesti Vabariigi Välisministeeriumile ning viidates tema 11. veebruari 2010 verbaalnoodile nr 08.2-1/667, on tal au teatada järgmist. Läti Vabariigi Välisministeerium nõustub 27. märtsil 2008 nootide vahetamise teel sõlmitud Eesti Vabariigi ja Läti Vabariigi viisaküsimustes esindamise kokkuleppe teise lõigu muutmisega. Ministeerium nõustub lisama Egiptuse (Kairo) alates 15. veebruarist 2010 kolmandate riikide nimekirja, kus Läti esindab Eestit. Edaspidi esindab Läti Eestit Schengeni õigustiku kohaselt viisaküsimustes Aserbaidžaanis (Bakuu), Kasahstanis (Astana), Usbekistanis (Toshkent) ja Egiptuses (Kairo). No. 08.2-1/667 The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Estonia presents its compliments to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Latvia and, with reference to the latter’s Note No. 43/8364-8388 dated 29 December 2009 and to the Arrangement between the Republic of Estonia and the Republic of Latvia on visa representation concluded by the exchange of notes on 27 March 2008, has the honour to convey the following. The Ministry has the honour to propose to amend the above-mentioned Arrangement as follows. To the list of third countries where Latvia represents Estonia in matters relating to the handling of visas shall be added Egypt. The second paragraph of the Arrangement will read as follows: “The Ministry has the honour to propose, in accordance with the Schengen acquis, that Latvia represents Estonia in matters relating to the handling of visas in Azerbaijan (Baku), Egypt (Cairo), Kazakhstan (Astana) and Uzbekistan (Tashkent)”. On the understanding that the Latvian side agrees with this proposal, the Estonian side proposes that this Note and the reply Note of the Latvian side constitute the Arrangement between the Republic of Estonia and the Republic of Latvia on the Amendments to the Arrangement between the Republic of Estonia and the Republic of Latvia on visa representation concluded by the exchange of notes on 27 March 2008. Estonian side proposes that this Arrangement enters into force on 15 February 2010. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Estonia avails itself of this opportunity to renew to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Latvia the assurance of its highest consideration. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Latvia accepts the proposal of the Arrangement between the Republic of Estonia and the Republic of Latvia on the amendment of the second paragraph to the Arrangement on visa representation concluded by both parties with the exchange of notes on 27 March 2008. The Ministry also agrees to add Egypt (Cairo) to the list of third countries where Latvia represents Estonia from 15 February 2010.
