Välisministeeriumi teadaanne välislepingu jõustumise kohta Välisministeeriumi teadaanne välislepingu lõppemise kohta Mitteametlik tõlge Sõlmitud 4. aprillil 1995. a. nootide vahetamise teel Hr. Komisjon peaks olema moodustatud mõlema valitsuse esindajatest. Lars Grundberg Rootsi suursaadik Hr. Lars Grundberg Rootsi suursaadik Tallinn Eesti Vabariigi Välisministeerium Tallinn, 4 aprill, 1995 Teie Ekstsellents, Mul on au teatada Teie noodi kättesaamisest 4. aprillil 1995. a., mille sisu on järgmine: «Vabakaubandusleping Eesti ja Rootsi vahel, mis kirjutati alla 31. märtsil 1992. a., on muutunud kehtetuks Rootsi ühinemise tulemusel Euroopa Liiduga 1. jaanuaril 1995. a. Mr. Jüri Luik Minister of Foreign Affairs Tallinn Embassy of Sweden Tallinn Tallinn, April 4, 1995 Your Excellency, The Free Trade Agreement between Estonia and Sweden signed on 31 March, 1992 has been terminated as a result of Sweden's accession to the European Union on 1 January, 1995. Consequently, the Joint Committee established under this Agreement has ceased to exist. In view of the importance attached by both Governments to a further development of economic relations between the two countries, and in view of the common interest to explore ways and means to expand trade and economic cooperation, representatives of our two Governments have, in recent discussions, indicated a desire to pursue a bilateral dialogue on matters concerning the development of economic relations between Estonia and Sweden. To this end, I have the honour to propose, on behalf of the Swedish Government, that a Joint Swedish-Estonian Economic Commission hereby is established. The Commission will serve as a forum for discussion on economic matters of common interest, with particular emphasis on matters concerning the development of economic relations. The Commission should be composed of representatives of the two Governments. It should meet at least once a year, alternately in Sweden and in Estonia. I further have the honour to propose that if the foregoing is acceptable to the Government of Estonia, this Note and Your Excellency's reply thereto shall constitute an Agreement between our two Governments which shall enter into force on the date of the receipt of Your Excellency's reply, and shall remain in force until ninety days after the date of the receipt of a written notification from either Government to the other of its decision to terminate it. I avail myself of this opportunity to renew to you, Your Excellency, the assurances of my highest consideration. Lars Grundberg Ambassador of Sweden H.E.
