1. Le département consulte le réseau de soins pour tout projet ayant un impact sur l'organisation sanitaire régionale ou sur la collaboration interinstitutionnelle.
2. Le réseau peut émettre des propositions concernant la répartition des ressources publiques et les investissements prévus ou à consentir pour sa région. Le département lui remet à cette fin les informations utiles.
