Öffentliche Strassen und benachbartes Grundeigentum
Art. 85 Strassengesetz (SG) · Zugänge und Zufahrten
Zugänge, Zufahrten, Weganschlüsse und Einmündungen aller Art auf öffentliche Strassen, ihre Erweiterung und gesteigerte Benutzung bedürfen der Bewilligung des zuständigen Gemeinwesens.
Pro Grundstück wird in der Regel nur ein Strassenanschluss bewilligt.
Die Kosten eines neuen oder geänderten Strassenanschlusses und der Anpassung der Strasse trägt die interessierte Grundeigentümerin oder der interessierte Grundeigentümer.
Wird einem Grundstück durch Verbot oder durch Veränderung der öffentlichen Strasse der Zutritt oder die Zufahrt entzogen, so hat das zuständige Gemeinwesen für eine andere Verbindung mit dem öffentlichen Strassennetz zu sorgen oder eine angemessene Entschädigung zu leisten.
