The Federal Administrative Court suspended its proceedings in a revision leave case until the Federal Court of Justice concludes or otherwise resolves a parallel legal professional disciplinary proceeding. The underlying dispute involved a plaintiff, acting as their own legal representative, challenging the denial of leave for revision; the suspension was triggered by the need to verify whether the plaintiff still holds a valid bar admission, which is a prerequisite for the admissibility of the self-represented appeal. The court applied § 94 of the Administrative Court Procedure Act (VwGO), extended to revision proceedings via §§ 141 and 125(1) VwGO, determining that the outcome of the administrative litigation depends on the prior determination of the attorney's status in the concurrent professional disciplinary process, making that issue precedential and justifying the stay.
