The case involves a legal dispute concerning a claim of procedural delay by an individual against the prosecution authority of a Swiss canton. The individual filed an appeal regarding a prior decision made by the president of the cantonal prosecution chamber. However, the individual subsequently withdrew their appeal shortly before a decision by the Federal Tribunal was reached, following a partial acceptance of another related appeal. Consequently, the Federal Tribunal resolved to discontinue the proceedings due to the withdrawal of the appeal, and no costs or compensation were awarded to any parties involved in the case.
