The Supreme Court of Slovenia dismissed the appeal, ordering the case back to the District Court in Celje. The plaintiff, a judge at that court, sued a colleague for a debt, prompting the court president to request a transfer of jurisdiction under Article 67 of the Civil Procedure Act. The court ruled that the plaintiff's status as a judge at the original venue constitutes a significant reason for delegating the case to another court to ensure impartiality.
