The Supreme Court of Slovenia transferred the case to the District Court in Ajdovščina upon the Chief Judge's request. The conflict arose because the opposing party was the wife of a judge on the original court, who also acted as her legal representative. The court ruled that this relationship created an unavoidable appearance of bias, necessitating a transfer to ensure public confidence in the judiciary.
