Legislator summary

AI generated

The Supreme Court of Slovenia rejected the District Court of Ptuj's request to transfer jurisdiction to another court. The District Court argued that the defendant, who is also a lawyer representing multiple parties before the Ptuj court, should be tried elsewhere for procedural efficiency. The court held that the defendant's dual role as a party and a lawyer in the same jurisdiction does not constitute a significant reason for transferring the case.

Predlogu za prenos pristojnosti se ne ugodi.

[JEDRO]
