The Supreme Court of Slovenia transferred the case from the Velenju District Court to the Celje District Court. The Velenju Court identified that the defendant was the sister of a judge there, creating potential doubts about impartiality given the court's small size. The Supreme Court ruled that this relationship constitutes a valid reason for transfer under the Civil Procedure Act to ensure procedural fairness.
