The Supreme Court of Slovenia transferred the case from the District Court in Krško to the District Court in Celje upon the plaintiff's request. The court found that the Krško court was smaller and employed the defendant's wife as a judge, creating a significant risk of bias. Consequently, the Supreme Court ruled that these circumstances constituted weighty grounds under Article 67 of the Civil Procedure Act to ensure a fair trial.
