Legislator summary

AI generated

The Supreme Court of Slovenia rejected the defendant's request to transfer the case to another court due to alleged personal knowledge of the plaintiff by a judge and employment of the defendant's sister at the court. The court found that the sister's employment would not affect the proceedings as other clerks would handle the case, and judge familiarity does not constitute a valid ground for jurisdictional delegation. Consequently, the court ruled that no substantial reasons existed to transfer the matter, leaving the original court to continue the trial.
