Legislator summary

AI generated

The Supreme Court of Slovenia dismissed the objection regarding territorial jurisdiction in a regression claim case. The lower court in Krško incorrectly declared itself non-competent by default, citing exclusive jurisdiction of the court in Šmarje pri Jelšah under Article 52 of the Civil Procedure Act. The Supreme Court ruled that no exclusive territorial jurisdiction exists for regression claims against regressors, thereby invalidating the lower court's default declaration of non-competence.
