Legislator summary

AI generated

The Supreme Court of Slovenia designated a different competent court to hear the divorce case initiated by a plaintiff who is a judge at the original court. The plaintiff filed for divorce at the District Court in L., which then requested the Supreme Court to transfer jurisdiction due to the plaintiff's judicial position. The court ruled that the plaintiff's status as a judge at the originating court constitutes a significant reason for transferring the case to avoid potential bias.
