The Supreme Court dismissed the appeal, transferring the case from the Maribor to the Celje Labour Court. The plaintiff, a judge at the Maribor court, sued for a salary difference there, prompting the Maribor court to request a transfer due to potential bias. The court ruled that a judge suing at their own court creates a significant appearance of impropriety, warranting a change of venue under the Code of Civil Procedure.
