The Supreme Court of Slovenia ordered the transfer of a civil case from the Court of First Instance in Murska Sobota to another competent court. The plaintiff filed the suit at a different court because the presiding judge at the original court was the mother of the plaintiff's child. The court ruled that this familial connection constituted a significant reason for transferring the proceedings to ensure impartiality and ease of process.
