Legislator summary

The Supreme Court rejected the applicant's request to transfer the case to another competent court. The applicant argued that a sibling relationship between their representative and the High Court judge constituted a valid reason for delegation under Article 68 of the Civil Procedure Act. The court held that this familial tie only triggered disqualification under Article 71, which does not justify transferring the proceedings to a different court.
