Legislator summary

AI generated

The plaintiff requested case delegation to another court, arguing that the defendant had a familial relationship with the tenant of a dining facility located within the court building. The Supreme Court rejected this request, noting that mere assertions of such a connection, even if proven, do not objectively undermine the court's impartiality. Consequently, the court held that these circumstances fail to meet the statutory threshold for delegating proceedings under the Code of Civil Procedure.

[JEDRO]
