AI generated

The Constitutional Court rejected the request for recusal of a judge based on social contacts with the relator. The court found these circumstances did not objectively create suspicion of partiality or damage the Tribunal's image. Consequently, the concept of 'weighty circumstances' required for recusal under the Civil Procedure Code was not met.

ACÓRDÃO Nº 162/2019

Processo n.º 580/2018

2.ª Secção

Relator: Conselheiro Fernando Ventura
