Legislator summary

AI generated

The Portuguese Constitutional Court rejected a second concrete review of Article 5 of the Notary Fee Table, which had already been examined in a prior full bench ruling. The applicants, two companies, argued no new constitutional issues were raised, while the State maintained the previous decision stood. The court applied the doctrine of res judicata regarding identical norms, concluding that since the earlier judgment found no unconstitutionality, the current request lacked merit.
