Legislator summary

AI generated

The Constitutional Court dismissed the public prosecution's appeal against a criminal judgment. The prosecution argued for a different legal interpretation, but the Court found no need to address the merits. Instead, it applied a binding declaration from a previous ruling (Acórdão 451/95) to resolve the case, thereby negating the appeal's provision.
