Constitutional appeal dismissed due to subsequent amnesty making the challenged criminal law provision irrelevant.
Legislator summary
AI generatedThe Constitutional Court declared the constitutional appeal inadmissible because the underlying criminal offense had been pardoned by a subsequent amnesty decree. The appellant challenged Article 310 of the Criminal Procedure Code, but the Ministry of Public Prosecution argued the issue was moot following the amnesty. The court ruled that the appeal became useless since the legal basis for prosecution no longer existed.
