Holders of an ocean navigation certificate who wish to extend this certificate to another category of boats must demonstrate at least the following experience: a. if they possess the certificate authorizing the operation of motor yachts and wish to extend it to sail yachts, with or without mechanical propulsion: 1. 10 days at sea, and 2. 500 nautical miles traveled according to the travel certificate in accordance with Annex 4; b. if they possess the certificate authorizing the operation of sail yachts, with or without mechanical propulsion, and wish to extend it to motor yachts: 1. 5 days at sea, and 2. 100 nautical miles traveled according to the travel certificate in accordance with Annex 4.

Experience acquired during the four years (complete calendar years) preceding the application for the extension of the ocean navigation certificate is taken into account.

Für die Ergänzung eines bestehenden Hochseeausweises für die jeweils andere Schiffskategorie ist ein Nachweis über folgende minimale Erfahrung zu erbringen: a. für die Ergänzung des Hochseeausweises für Motorschiffe zusätzlich für Segelschiffe mit und ohne Maschinenantrieb: 1. zehn Tage auf See, und 2. 500 gefahrene Seemeilen gemäss Fahrtennachweis nach Anhang 4; b. für die Ergänzung des Hochseeausweises für Segelschiffe mit und ohne Maschinenantrieb zusätzlich für Motorschiffe: 1. fünf Tage auf See, und 2. 100 gefahrene Seemeilen gemäss Fahrtennachweis nach Anhang 4. {note: Fassung gemäss Ziff. Die Praxis muss innerhalb von vier Jahren vor der Einreichung des Ergänzungsantrages (volles Kalenderjahr) erworben werden.

Les titulaires d’un certificat de conduite en mer qui souhaitent obtenir l’extension de ce certificat à une autre catégorie de bateaux doivent justifier au moins de l’expérience suivante: a. s’ils possèdent le certificat autorisant la conduite de yachts à moteur et qu’ils souhaitent l’étendre aux yachts à voiles, avec ou sans propulsion mécanique: 1. 10 jours en mer, et 2. 500 milles marins parcourus selon l’attestation de parcours conformément à l’annexe 4; b. s’ils possèdent le certificat autorisant la conduite de yachts à voiles, avec ou sans propulsion mécanique et qu’ils souhaitent l’étendre aux yachts à moteur: 1. 5 jours en mer, et 2. 100 milles marins parcourus selon l’attestation de parcours conformément à l’annexe 4. {note: Nouvelle teneur selon le ch. Est prise en compte l’expérience acquise durant les quatre ans (années civiles complètes) qui ont précédé le dépôt de la demande d’extension du certificat de conduite en mer.

Per estendere una licenza di navigazione d’altura già rilasciata per le altre categorie di natanti si devono certificare le esperienze minime seguenti: a. per l’estensione della licenza di navigazione d’altura per natanti motorizzati a natanti a vela con o senza motore: 1. dieci giorni in mare, e 2. la percorrenza di 500 miglia nautiche secondo l’attestato di navigazione conformemente all’allegato 4; b. per l’estensione della licenza di navigazione d’altura per natanti a vela con o senza motore a natanti motorizzati: 1. cinque giorni in mare, e 2. la percorrenza di 100 miglia nautiche secondo l’attestato di navigazione conformemente all’allegato 4. {note: Nuovo testo giusta il n. La pratica deve essere acquisita in un periodo di tempo limitato ai quattro anni (anno civile completo) precedenti la presentazione dell’istanza d’estensione.
