Art. 6a Ordinance of 19 May 2010 Regulating the Placing on the Market of Products Manufactured According to Foreign Technical Regulations and Their Market Surveillance (OPPEtr) - Product Information for Foodstuffs Manufactured in Switzerland According to Foreign Technical Regulations and Placed on the Swiss Market - English

If a foodstuff is manufactured in Switzerland according to foreign technical regulations and placed on the Swiss market, the information to be provided under Art. 16 e, para. 1, let. b, LETC must be supplemented as follows: a. if the technical regulations are harmonized in the EU: "Produced in Switzerland according to EU technical regulations"; b. if the technical regulations are not or not fully harmonized in the EU: "Produced in Switzerland according to the technical regulations of [name of the relevant EU or EEA member state]" (e.g., "Produced in Switzerland according to the technical regulations of Belgium").

Art. 6a Verordnung vom 19. Wird ein Lebensmittel in der Schweiz nach ausländischen technischen Vorschriften hergestellt und in Verkehr gebracht, so muss die Angabe nach Artikel 16 e Absatz 1 Buchstabe b THG mit folgender Information ergänzt werden: a. wenn die technischen Vorschriften in der EU harmonisiert sind: «Hergestellt in der Schweiz nach den technischen Vorschriften der EU»; b. wenn die technischen Vorschriften in der EU nicht oder nicht vollständig harmonisiert sind: «Hergestellt in der Schweiz nach den technischen Vorschriften [Name des betreffenden EU- oder EWR-Mit gliedstaates]» (z. B. «Hergestellt in der Schweiz nach den technischen Vorschriften Belgiens»).

Si une denrée alimentaire est fabriquée en Suisse selon des prescriptions techniques étrangères et mise sur le marché suisse, l’information à fournir en vertu de l’art. 16 e, al. 1, let. b, LETC doit être complétée comme suit: a. si les prescriptions techniques sont harmonisées dans l’UE: «Produit en Suisse selon les prescriptions techniques de l’UE»; b. si les prescriptions techniques ne sont pas ou pas entièrement harmonisées dans l’UE: «Produit en Suisse selon les prescriptions techniques [nom de l’État membre concerné de l’UE ou de l’EEE]» (p. ex. «Produit en Suisse selon les prescriptions techniques de la Belgique»).

Se una derrata alimentare è fabbricata in Svizzera conformemente a prescrizioni tecniche estere e immessa in commercio in Svizzera, l’informazione di cui all’articolo 16 e capoverso 1 lettera b LOTC deve essere completata come segue: a. se le prescrizioni tecniche sono armonizzate nell’UE: «Prodotto in Svizzera secondo le prescrizioni tecniche dell’UE»; b. se le prescrizioni tecniche non sono armonizzate nell’UE o non lo sono completamente: «Prodotto in Svizzera secondo le prescrizioni tecniche [nome dello Stato membro dell’UE o dello SEE]» (p. es. «Prodotto in Svizzera secondo le prescrizioni tecniche del Belgio»).
