Bachelor’s degree programs prepare students for professional activities in the field of sport. They include a study achievement of 180 ECTS credits; the ECTS credits are calculated in accordance with the execution provisions of the Higher Education Act (LEHE).

Master’s degree programs build on bachelor studies and offer specialized and in-depth knowledge in the areas of sports practice and sports sciences. They include a study achievement of 90 or 120 ECTS credits; the ECTS credits are calculated in accordance with the execution provisions of the LEHE.

Graduates may bear the following protected titles: a. "Bachelor of Science in Sports with a specialization in [designation of the specialization]"; b. "Master of Science in Sports with a specialization in [designation of the specialization]."

They may complement the title by adding "Federal School of Sport Magglingen, HEFSM."

The title of "HES Sports Master/Mistress" previously awarded remains protected. Holders of this title are also entitled to use the title "Bachelor of Science Federal School of Sport Magglingen in Sport" or "Bachelor of Science Federal School of Sport Magglingen in Sports."

The Department of Defense, Civil Protection and Sport (DDPS) regulates the orientation of studies, the diploma requirements, and the duration of studies.

The Federal Office of Sport (OFSPO) may issue regulations on the organization of degree programs, the content of the various degree programs, and the conduct of competency evaluations.

Die Bachelorstudiengänge bereiten die Studierenden auf eine berufliche Tätigkeit im Bereich Sport vor. Die Masterstudiengänge bauen auf den Bachelorstudiengängen auf und vermitteln sportpraktisches und sportwissenschaftliches Spezial- und Vertiefungswissen. Sie umfassen eine Studienleistung von 90 oder 120 ECTS-Punkten; die ECTS-Punkte werden gemäss den Ausführungsbestimmungen zum Hochschulförderungs- und -koordinationsgesetz berechnet. {note: Fassung gemäss Ziff. Die Absolventinnen und Absolventen können folgende geschützte Titel führen: a. «Bachelor of Science in Sports mit Ausrichtung in [Bezeichnung der Ausrichtung]»; b. «Master of Science in Sports mit Ausrichtung in [Bezeichnung der Ausrichtung]».

Sie können dem Titel den Zusatz «Eidgenössische Hochschule für Sport Magglingen, EHSM» anfügen.

Der bisherige Titel «Sportlehrerin FH/Sportlehrer FH» bleibt geschützt. «Sportlehrerinnen FH» und «Sportlehrer FH» sind gleichzeitig berechtigt, den Titel «Bachelor of Science Eidgenössische Hochschule für Sport Magglingen in Sport» oder «Bachelor of Science Eidgenössische Hochschule für Sport Magglingen in Sports» zu führen.

Das VBS regelt die Ausrichtung der Studiengänge, die Anforderungen an die Abschlüsse und die Studiendauer.

Das BASPO kann Vorschriften über die Organisation der Studiengänge, die Ausbildungsinhalte der einzelnen Studiengänge und die Durchführung der Kompetenznachweise erlassen.

Les lauréats peuvent porter les titres protégés suivants: a. « Bachelor of Science in Sports avec orientation en [désignation de l’orientation]»; b. « Master of Science in Sports avec orientation en [désignation de l’orientation]».

Ils peuvent compléter le titre par l’ajout «Haute école fédérale de sport de Macolin, HEFSM».

Le titre de «maître de sport HES/maîtresse de sport HES» décerné précédemment reste protégé. Les titulaires de ce titre ont également le droit de porter le titre de « Bachelor of Science Haute école fédérale de sport de Macolin in Sport» ou « Bachelor of Science Haute école fédérale de sport de Macolin in Sports».

Le DDPS règle l’orientation des études, les exigences liées aux diplômes et la durée des études.

L’OFSPO peut édicter des prescriptions sur l’organisation des filières d’études, le contenu des différentes filières d’études et la réalisation des évaluations de compétence.

I diplomati possono utilizzare i titoli protetti di: a. «Bachelor of Science in Sports con approfondimento in [designazione dell’indirizzo]»; b. «Master of Science in Sports con approfondimento in [designazione dell’indirizzo]».

Possono aggiungere al titolo la specificazione «Scuola universitaria federale dello sport Macolin, SUFSM».

L’attuale titolo di «maestro di sport SUP» resta protetto. I «maestri di sport SUP» sono al contempo autorizzati a utilizzare il titolo di «Bachelor of Science in sport della Scuola universitaria federale dello sport Macolin» oppure «Bachelor of Science in sports della Scuola universitaria federale dello sport Macolin».

Il DDPS disciplina gli indirizzi dei cicli di studi, i requisiti per l’ottenimento del diploma e la durata degli studi.

L’UFSPO può emanare prescrizioni sull’organizzazione dei cicli di studi, sui contenuti della formazione dei singoli cicli di studi e sullo svolgimento delle verifiche delle competenze.
