The organization mandated pursuant to Art. 26, para. 1, let. b, shall designate, for the calendar year, the public markets for animals of the bovine species aged 161 days or more, and ovine species. The designation shall be made in agreement with the cantons and farmers' organizations and requires approval from the Federal Office for Agriculture (FOAG).
Only a market where, on average, at least 50 animals have been brought and auctioned between July 1 and June 30 preceding the calendar year in accordance with Art. 7, para. 2, may be designated as a public market.
Two markets that, when combined, reach the minimum volume stipulated in para. 2 may also be designated, provided they have taken place in the same region and on the same half-day and have been supervised by the same employees of the mandated organization.
The requirements set forth in para. 2 only apply to new markets starting from the third calendar year.
Before the beginning of the calendar year, the mandated organization shall establish an annual program including the designated public markets. This program shall particularly indicate the market places and days, as well as the categories of animals that may be brought there.
Die mit der Aufgabe nach Artikel 26 Absatz 1 Buchstabe b beauftragte Organisation bezeichnet jeweils für ein Kalenderjahr öffentliche Märkte für Tiere der Rindviehgattung ab einem Alter von 161 Tagen und für Tiere der Schafgattung. Als öffentliche Märkte können nur Märkte bezeichnet werden, auf denen vom 1. Juli bis zum 30. Juni vor dem entsprechenden Kalenderjahr durchschnittlich mindestens 50 Tiere pro Markt aufgeführt und gemäss Artikel 7 Absatz 2 versteigert wurden.
Zwei Märkte, die zusammen die Mindestgrösse nach Absatz 2 erreichen, können ebenfalls bezeichnet werden, wenn sie in derselben Region und am gleichen Halbtag stattgefunden haben und von denselben Angestellten der beauftragten Organisation überwacht wurden.
Die Anforderungen nach Absatz 2 gelten für neu veranstaltete Märkte erst ab dem dritten Kalenderjahr.
Die beauftragte Organisation erstellt vor Beginn des Kalenderjahres ein Jahresmarktprogramm mit den bezeichneten öffentlichen Märkten. Darin werden insbesondere die Marktplätze, das Datum der einzelnen Märkte und die zur Auffuhr berechtigten Tierkategorien angegeben.

Ne peut être désigné comme marché public qu’un marché sur lequel, entre le 1 er juillet et le 30 juin précédant l’année civile, au moins 50 animaux en moyenne ont été amenés et mis en adjudication conformément à l’art. 7, al. 2.
Peuvent également être désignés deux marchés qui, additionnés, atteignent le volume minimal prévu à l’al. 2, s’ils ont eu lieu dans la même région et la même demi-journée et s’ils ont été surveillés par les mêmes employés de l’organisation mandatée.
Les exigences visées à l’al. 2 ne s’appliquent aux nouveaux marchés qu’à partir de la troisième année civile.
L’organisation mandatée établit, avant le début de l’année civile, un programme annuel comprenant les marchés publics désignés. Ce programme indique notamment les places et les jours de marché ainsi que les catégories d’animaux pouvant y être amenées.

Quali mercati pubblici possono essere designati soltanto i mercati sui quali, tra il 1° luglio e il 30 giugno precedente il rispettivo anno civile, sono stati portati mediamente almeno 50 animali per essere venduti all’asta conformemente all’articolo 7 capoverso 2.
Possono essere designati anche due mercati che, sommati, raggiungono le dimensioni minime previste al capoverso 2, se hanno avuto luogo nella stessa regione e durante la stessa mezza giornata e se sono stati sorvegliati dagli stessi impiegati dell’organizzazione incaricata.
Le esigenze di cui al capoverso 2 sono applicabili ai nuovi mercati soltanto a partire dal terzo anno civile.
L’organizzazione incaricata allestisce, prima dell’inizio dell’anno civile, un programma annuale in cui figurano i mercati pubblici designati. Tale programma indica in particolare le piazze e i giorni dei singoli mercati nonché le categorie di animali che possono essere portate sul mercato.
