The office may process meteorological and climatological data and results or any other information at its disposal to respond to specific requests and exploit them on a commercial basis.

Additional services may only be offered if they are closely related to the basic services and do not harm them.

The office offers these services under private law. It sets prices in accordance with market rules and publishes tariffs. Prices should not be lower than the cost price nor reduced through revenues from the basic services.

Das Angebot an erweiterten Dienstleistungen hat in einem engen Zusammenhang mit dem Grundangebot zu stehen und darf dieses nicht beeinträchtigen.

Das Bundesamt bietet die erweiterten Dienstleistungen auf privatrechtlicher Basis an. Es setzt das Entgelt nach den Bedingungen des Marktes fest und gibt die Ansätze bekannt. Die erweiterten Dienstleistungen dürfen nicht unter den Gestehungskosten erbracht und nicht mit Erträgen aus dem Grundangebot verbilligt werden.
