The competent departments ensure that the police units affiliated with them receive training that meets the requirements of the law. They develop the training program by taking into account the regulations approved by the Federal Department of Home Affairs in the field of police professions, the program of the Swiss Police Institute (SPI), and the recommendations of the specialized coordination commissions.

The FDJP, DDPS, and FDF establish an interdepartmental working group responsible for coordinating the training of the Confederation's police units; the coordination group is composed of two representatives from each concerned department, two representatives from the cantons, and one representative from the SPI.

The interdepartmental working group referred to in para. 2 organizes its operations. It issues recommendations to the departments on the content and organization of the training.

Die Departemente sorgen dafür, dass die Polizeiorgane, die ihnen unterstehen, den gesetzlichen Vorgaben entsprechend ausgebildet werden. Bei der Erarbeitung der Ausbildungsprogramme berücksichtigen sie die vom Eidgenössischen Departement des Innern genehmigten Reglemente im Bereich der Polizeiberufe, die Ausbildungsgänge des Schweizerischen Polizei-Instituts (SPI) und die Empfehlungen kantonaler Koordinationsgremien.

Für die Koordination der Ausbildung von Polizeiorganen des Bundes bilden das EJPD, das VBS und das EFD eine interdepartementale Arbeitsgruppe; diese setzt sich aus je zwei Vertreterinnen oder Vertretern der beteiligten Departemente, zwei Vertreterinnen oder Vertretern der Kantone sowie einer Vertreterin oder einem Vertreter des SPI zusammen.

Die interdepartementale Arbeitsgruppe im Sinne von Absatz 2 regelt ihre Organisation selber. Sie gibt den Departementen Empfehlungen zum Inhalt und zur Organisation der Ausbildung ab.

Le DFJP, le DDPS et le DFF constituent un groupe de travail interdépartemental chargé de coordonner la formation des organes de police de la Confédération; le groupe de coordination est composé de deux représentants par département concerné, de deux représentants des cantons et d’un représentant de l’ISP.

Le groupe de travail interdépartemental visé par l’al. 2 règle son organisation. Il édicte, à l’attention des départements, des recommandations sur le contenu et l’organisation de la formation.

Elaborano il programma di formazione tenendo conto dei regolamenti concernenti le professioni di polizia approvati dal Dipartimento federale dell’interno, dei corsi di istruzione dell’Istituto svizzero di polizia (ISP) e delle raccomandazioni degli organi di coordinamento cantonali.

Per il coordinamento della formazione di organi di polizia della Confederazione, il DFGP, il DDPS e il DFF istituiscono un gruppo di lavoro interdipartimentale composto di due rappresentanti per ogni dipartimento interessato, di due rappresentanti dei Cantoni e di un rappresentante dell’ISP.

Il gruppo di lavoro interdipartimentale di cui al capoverso 2 disciplina la propria organizzazione. Formula all’indirizzo dei dipartimenti raccomandazioni sul contenuto e l’organizzazione della formazione.
