The Federal Council may enact regulations on the transportation of dangerous goods and designate sections where the transportation of such goods is permitted.

In this case, it shall notably issue regulations on: a. the procedure for verifying the compliance of containers for dangerous goods with essential requirements; b. the procedure for recognizing independent services tasked with performing conformity assessments.

Der Bundesrat kann Vorschriften über den Transport gefährlicher Güter erlassen und Strecken bezeichnen, auf denen gefährliche Güter transportiert werden dürfen.

Er erlässt in diesem Fall insbesondere Vorschriften über: a. das Verfahren zur Überprüfung der Konformität von Gefahrgutumschliessungen mit den grundlegenden Anforderungen; b. das Verfahren zur Anerkennung von unabhängigen Stellen, die Konformitätsbewertungen durchführen.

Le Conseil fédéral peut édicter des prescriptions sur le transport de marchandises dangereuses et désigner des tronçons sur lesquels le transport de ces marchandises est autorisé.

Dans ce cas, il édicte notamment des prescriptions sur: a. la procédure de vérification de la conformité des contenants de marchandises dangereuses aux exigences essentielles; b. la procédure de reconnaissance des services indépendants chargés d’effectuer les évaluations de conformité.

Il Consiglio federale può emanare prescrizioni sul trasporto di merci pericolose e designare le tratte sulle quali è ammesso.

Emana in particolare prescrizioni concernenti: a. la procedura di verifica della conformità dei mezzi di contenimento per merci pericolose ai requisiti essenziali; b. la procedura di riconoscimento dei servizi indipendenti incaricati di effettuare le valutazioni di conformità.
