Holders of foreign professional qualifications who can invoke Annex III of the Agreement of 21 June 1999 between the Swiss Confederation, on the one hand, and the European Community and its Member States, on the other, on the free movement of persons, or Annex K of the Convention of 4 January 1960 establishing the European Free Trade Association (EFTA), may practice without authorization, under their own professional responsibility, a profession in the field of psychotherapy as service providers. They must register according to the procedure established by the Federal Act of 14 December 2012 concerning the obligation of service providers to declare their professional qualifications in the context of regulated professions and on the verification of these qualifications. The competent cantonal authority registers the declaration.

Holders of a cantonal authorization have the right to practice psychotherapy under their own professional responsibility in another canton, for up to 90 days per calendar year, without needing to request authorization from that canton. The restrictions and obligations related to their authorization also apply to this activity. These individuals must register with the competent cantonal authority, which records the announcement in the register.

Personen mit im Ausland erworbenen Berufsqualifikationen, die sich auf Anhang III des Abkommens vom 21. Juni 1999 {note: SR 0.142.112.681} zwischen der Schweizerischen Eidgenossenschaft einerseits und der Europäischen Gemeinschaft und ihren Mitgliedstaaten andererseits über die Freizügigkeit oder auf Anhang K des Übereinkommens vom 4. Januar 1960 {note: SR 0.632.31} zur Errichtung der Europäischen Freihandelsassoziation (EFTA) berufen können, dürfen ihren Psychotherapieberuf ohne Bewilligung in eigener fachlicher Verantwortung als Dienstleistungserbringerin oder -erbringer ausüben. Sie müssen sich gemäss dem Verfahren melden, das im Bundesgesetz vom 14. Dezember 2012 {note: SR 935.01} über die Meldepflicht und die Nachprüfung der Berufsqualifikationen von Dienstleistungserbringerinnen und -erbringern in reglementierten Berufen festgelegt ist. Inhaberinnen und Inhaber einer kantonalen Bewilligung dürfen Psychotherapie während längstens 90 Tagen pro Kalenderjahr in einem anderen Kanton in eigener fachlicher Verantwortung ausüben, ohne eine Bewilligung dieses Kantons einzuholen. Einschränkungen und Auflagen ihrer Bewilligung gelten auch für diese Tätigkeit. Diese Personen müssen sich bei der zuständigen kantonalen Stelle melden. Les titulaires de qualifications professionnelles étrangères qui peuvent se prévaloir de l’annexe III de l’Accord du 21 juin 1999 entre la Confédération suisse, d’une part, et la Communauté européenne et ses États membres, d’autre part, sur la libre circulation des personnes {note: RS 0.142.112.681} ou de l’annexe K de la Convention du 4 janvier 1960 instituant l’Association européenne de libre-échange (AELE) {note: RS 0.632.31} peuvent exercer sans autorisation, sous leur propre responsabilité professionnelle, une profession relevant du domaine de la psychothérapie en qualité de prestataires de services. Ils doivent s’annoncer selon la procédure instaurée par la loi fédérale du 14 décembre 2012 portant sur l’obligation des prestataires de services de déclarer leurs qualifications professionnelles dans le cadre des professions réglementées et sur la vérification de ces qualifications {note: RS 935.01} . L’autorité cantonale compétente inscrit la déclaration au registre.

Les titulaires d’une autorisation cantonale ont le droit d’exercer la psychothérapie sous leur propre responsabilité professionnelle dans un autre canton, pendant 90 jours au plus par année civile, sans devoir requérir une autorisation de ce canton. Les restrictions et les charges liées à leur autorisation s’appliquent aussi à cette activité. Ces personnes doivent s’annoncer auprès de l’autorité cantonale compétente. Celle-ci inscrit l’annonce au registre.

I titolari di un’autorizzazione cantonale possono esercitare in un altro Cantone la psicoterapia, sotto la propria responsabilità professionale, durante un periodo non superiore a 90 giorni per anno civile, senza essere tenuti a chiedere un’autorizzazione di tale Cantone. Le restrizioni e gli oneri legati all’autorizzazione di cui sono titolari si applicano pure a tale attività. Essi devono annunciarsi all’autorità cantonale competente.
