The foundation committee or the responsible body submits an application for recognition of their institution as a Swiss school abroad and their educational offerings.

The application must contain all the necessary information to assess whether the legal conditions are met. It must address each of the recognition criteria in the sense of the LESE and include, in particular, the following annexes: a. An overview of the probable development of the school over the next eight years, including information on class sizes; b. A financial plan providing information on expected expenses and revenues over the next eight years; c. The statutes; d. Information about the responsible body, its organization, and the individuals who comprise it; e. Information on the educational program or, concerning initial vocational training offerings, on the training project; f. A certificate indicating that the teachers are qualified to teach at the educational level for which they were recruited; g. A certificate stating the public interest character of the institution and the allocation of its profits.

Concerning the recognition of branches of Swiss schools, each school must also submit the regulations governing its organization and cooperation with its branch.

The application is submitted to the Federal Office of Culture (FOC), with a copy to the competent Swiss representation.

Gesuchstellerin für die Anerkennung einer Schule als Schweizerschule und von deren Angeboten ist das Gründungkomitee oder die Trägerschaft der Schule.

Das Gesuch muss die Angaben enthalten, die für die Beurteilung der Erfüllung der gesetzlichen Voraussetzungen nötig sind. Es muss Stellung nehmen zu den einzelnen Anerkennungsvoraussetzungen nach SSchG und insbesondere folgende Beilagen enthalten: a. eine Übersicht über die voraussichtliche Entwicklung in den kommenden acht Jahren mit Angaben zur Klassenauslastung; b. eine Finanzplanung, die über die zu erwartenden Aufwendungen und Erträge in den kommenden acht Jahren informiert; c. die Statuten; d. Informationen über die Trägerschaft, deren Organisation und personelle Zusammensetzung; e. Informationen über das pädagogische Konzept und, bei Angeboten in der beruflichen Grundbildung, über das Ausbildungskonzept; f. den Nachweis, dass die Lehrkräfte über eine stufenspezifische Lehrberechtigung verfügen; g. den Nachweis über die Gemeinnützigkeit sowie über die Gewinnverwendung.

Für die Anerkennung von Filialschulen ist überdies das Reglement über die Organisation der Schule und die Zusammenarbeit mit der Filialschule einzureichen.

Das Gesuch ist beim Bundesamt für Kultur (BAK) einzureichen, mit einer Kopie an die zuständige schweizerische Vertretung.

Le comité de fondation ou l’organisme responsable dépose une demande de reconnaissance de leur établissement en tant qu’école suisse à l’étranger et de leurs offres de formation.

La demande doit contenir toutes les indications permettant d’évaluer si les conditions légales sont remplies. Elle doit prendre position sur chacune des conditions de reconnaissance au sens de la LESE et contenir en particulier les annexes suivantes: a. un aperçu du développement probable de l’école au cours des huit prochaines années comprenant des indications sur les effectifs des classes; b. une planification financière donnant des informations sur les dépenses et les recettes attendues au cours des huit prochaines années; c. les statuts; d. des informations sur l’organisme responsable, son organisation et les personnes qui le composent; e. des informations sur le programme pédagogique ou, s’agissant des offres de formation professionnelle initiale, sur le projet de formation; f. une attestation selon laquelle les enseignants sont habilités à exercer dans le degré scolaire pour lequel ils ont été recrutés; g. une attestation faisant état du caractère d’intérêt général de l’établissement et de l’affectation de ses bénéfices.

S’agissant de la reconnaissance des filiales d’écoles suisses, chaque école dépose en outre le règlement régissant son organisation et la collaboration avec sa filiale.

La demande est déposée auprès de l’Office fédéral de la culture (OFC), avec copie à la représentation suisse compétente.

La domanda di riconoscimento come scuola svizzera e della relativa offerta deve essere presentata dal comitato fondatore o dall’ente responsabile della scuola.

La domanda deve contenere le indicazioni necessarie per valutare se la scuola soddisfa le condizioni richieste dalla legge. Deve prendere posizione in merito alle singole condizioni per il riconoscimento secondo la LSSE e contenere segnatamente i seguenti allegati: a. una sinossi dei previsti sviluppi negli otto anni a venire con indicazioni sull’effettivo di allievi nelle classi; b. una pianificazione finanziaria che informi sulle spese e sui ricavi da attendersi negli otto anni a venire; c. gli statuti; d. informazioni sull’ente responsabile, la sua organizzazione e la sua composizione; e. informazioni sull’impostazione pedagogica e, se si tratta di offerte nell’ambito della formazione professionale di base, sull’impostazione formativa; f. la prova che i docenti sono abilitati a insegnare nei rispettivi livelli; g. la documentazione sull’utilità pubblica e sull’impiego degli utili.

Per il riconoscimento di filiali di scuole è necessario presentare inoltre il regolamento sull’organizzazione della scuola e la collaborazione con la filiale.

La domanda deve essere presentata all’Ufficio federale della cultura (UFC) con copia alla rappresentanza svizzera competente.
