Insofar as neither the law nor the present ordinance stipulate specific requirements, the cantons are responsible for executing the ordinance and overseeing its application in commerce.

Soweit im Gesetz und in dieser Verordnung keine besonderen Bestimmungen enthalten sind, obliegt die Ausführung dieser Verordnung und ihre Überwachung in Handel und Verkehr den Kantonen.
