The producers' and users' organizations, in agreement with the FSVO, designate the testing laboratories that will conduct the milk control.

The testing laboratories must be operated and evaluated in accordance with the European standard EN ISO/IEC 17025 concerning "General requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories" and: a. be accredited in accordance with the Ordinance of 17 June 1996 on Accreditation and Designation; b. be recognized by Switzerland under an international agreement, or c. be recognized or authorized by other Swiss law.

They may delegate certain tasks to specialized services. The producers' and users' organizations designate these tasks in agreement with the FSVO.

The FSVO issues guidelines relating to the minimum technical standards applicable to the testing laboratories.

Die Prüflaboratorien müssen nach der europäischen Norm EN ISO/IEC 17025 über «Allgemeine Anforderungen an die Kompetenz von Prüf- und Kalibrierlaboratorien» {note: Der Text dieser Norm kann beim Bundesamt für Veterinärwesen, 3003 Bern kostenlos eingesehen oder kostenlos eingesehen und gegen Bezahlung bezogen werden bei der Schweizerischen Normen-Vereinigung (SNV), Sulzerallee 70, 8404 Winterthur; www.snv.ch.} betrieben und bewertet werden sowie: a. nach der Akkreditierungs- und Bezeichnungsverordnung vom 17. Juni 1996 {note: SR 946.512} akkreditiert sein; b. von der Schweiz im Rahmen eines internationalen Abkommens anerkannt sein; oder c. nach schweizerischem Recht anderweitig ermächtigt oder anerkannt sein.

Sie können einzelne Aufgaben an fachlich ausgewiesene Stellen übertragen. Die Produzenten- und Verwerterorganisationen bestimmen im Einvernehmen mit dem BLV diese Aufgaben.

Das BLV erlässt Weisungen über die technischen Mindeststandards der Prüflaboratorien.

Les laboratoires d’essais doivent être exploités et évalués conformément à la norme européenne EN ISO/IEC 17025 sur «les prescriptions générales concernant la compétence des laboratoires d’étalonnage et d’essais» {note: Le texte de la norme peut être obtenu contre paiement auprès de l’Association suisse de normalisation (SNV), Sulzerallee 70, 8404 Winterthour; www.snv.ch. La norme peut également être consultée gratuitement à l’Office vétérinaire fédéral, 3003 Berne.} et: a. être accrédités conformément à l’ordonnance du 17 juin 1996 sur l’accréditation et la désignation {note: RS 946.512} ; b. être reconnus par la Suisse en vertu d’un accord international, ou c. être reconnus ou habilités à un autre titre par le droit suisse.

Ils peuvent déléguer certaines tâches à des services spécialisés. Les organisations de producteurs et d’utilisateurs désignent ces tâches en accord avec l’OSAV.

L’OSAV édicte des directives relatives aux normes techniques minimales applicables aux laboratoires d’essais.

I laboratori di prova devono essere gestiti e valutati secondo la norma europea EN ISO/IEC 17025 – «Criteri generali per la competenza dei laboratori ad eseguire prove e/o tarature» {note: Il testo di questa norma può essere consultato gratuitamente od ottenuto a pagamento presso l’Associazione svizzera di normalizzazione (SNV), Sulzerallee 70, 8404 Winterthur; www.snv.ch} nonché: a. essere accreditati secondo l’ordinanza del 17 giugno 1996 {note: RS 946.512} sull’accreditamento e sulla designazione; b. essere riconosciuti dalla Svizzera nel quadro di un accordo internazionale; oppure c. essere autorizzati o riconosciuti in altro modo secondo il diritto svizzero.

I laboratori di prova possono delegare singoli compiti a servizi specializzati. Le organizzazioni dei produttori e dei valorizzatori definiscono tali compiti d’intesa con l’USAV.

L’USAV emana direttive sugli standard tecnici minimi per i laboratori di prova.
