The Supreme Court of Slovenia delegated jurisdiction from the Ljubljana District Court to the Kranj District Court. The Ljubljana court proposed this transfer because the defendant is the brother of a judge employed at the original court, raising concerns about objective impartiality. The Supreme Court agreed that this specific familial relationship constituted a significant reason for delegation under the relevant procedural law.
