The Supreme Court of Slovenia dismissed the applicant's request to transfer the case to the District Court in Ljubljana. The applicant argued that the opposing party's mother, a clerk at the Novi Gorica court, knew the judges there, while lawyers in Novi Gorica refused representation due to personal acquaintances, and travel costs from New Castle would be unaffordable. The court held that delegation of jurisdiction is an exceptional measure under the Code of Civil Procedure that must be interpreted restrictively, finding no clear evidence that the Ljubljana court would handle the case more efficiently or that the personal connections constituted significant reasons for transfer.

[JEDRO]
