The High Court of Cassation and Justice (Civil Section I) rejected the applicant’s request to transfer the case (dosar nr. 86/288/2010) pending before the Râmnicu Vâlcea Court, with no appeal available; the request to change venue was denied, so the original court retains jurisdiction. The applicant sought removal of the case due to alleged bias or procedural concerns, but both the legal adviser and the Public Ministry opposed the motion. The Court based its decision on the absence of valid grounds under the statutory rules governing case transfer (strămutare), finding no reason to displace the case from its assigned court ahead of the scheduled hearing on 13 June 2013.
