The High Court of Cassation and Justice dismissed the request filed by a limited liability company to transfer the venue of a civil case pending before the Dolj County Court, leaving the original jurisdiction in force with no further appeal available. The dispute concerned a motion for *forum non conveniens* (transfer of venue) based on allegations of legitimate suspicion against the competent court, despite the case having a hearing scheduled for May 14, 2013, and the applicant having filed supporting submissions in March 2013. The court denied the transfer, effectively ruling that the asserted grounds of bias or legitimate suspicion were insufficient to override the statutory venue of the original tribunal, thereby rejecting the applicant's attempt to change the forum for the underlying civil litigation.
