The High Court of Cassation and Justice dismissed the petition for the transfer of jurisdiction (strămutare), thereby upholding the competence of the Court of Appeal Bacău, with the decision being final and non-appealable. The dispute concerned a procedural request to move Case No. 808/32/2012 to a different court, where the petitioner argued for a change of venue for a case scheduled to be heard on April 8, 2013. The rejection was based on the court’s analysis of the petition’s validity and the procedural standing of the requesting party, resulting in the dismissal of the request to alter the assigned judicial forum.
