The High Court of Cassation and Justice admitted the petition for transfer of jurisdiction, ordering the civil proceedings from File No. 8556/221/2011 to be moved from the Deva Court to the Satu Mare Court, while retaining all procedural acts performed to date; the decision is final and without further appeal. The case involved a request by the petitioner to transfer the hearing from the originally competent court, which was opposed by the respondent who also filed a motion for postponement based on lack of defense, a motion the court dismissed as insufficiently motivated. The court's decision on the transfer was based on the acceptance of the petitioner's written and oral arguments for the change of venue, whereas the denial of the postponement relied on Article 156(1) of the Code of Civil Procedure, which requires specific legal grounds for delaying proceedings.
