The High Court of Cassation and Justice dismissed the motion for the transfer of jurisdiction, thereby upholding the continued authority of the first-instance court of origin. The dispute involved a request filed by four plaintiffs to transfer their civil case (initially filed in 2007) from a specific district court to a different jurisdiction, alleging grounds of legitimate suspicion against the currently assigned judges. The appellate court rejected the request following an analysis of the submitted documents and oral conclusions, noting that the respondent parties were absent despite legal summons. The decision is final and not subject to appeal, based on the legal provisions governing the transfer of jurisdiction and the requirements for establishing legitimate suspicion in Romanian civil procedure.
