The High Court of Cassation and Justice dismissed the petitioner's motion for the transfer of jurisdiction (striimutare), thereby upholding the competence of the Pitești Court of Appeal and leaving the original court as the forum for the proceedings. The case involved a procedural request to transfer civil file No. 1845/46/2013 from the Pitești Court of Appeal to another competent court, submitted after both the petitioner and the respondent failed to appear at the hearing. The dismissal was based on the legal finding that the procedural requirements for a transfer were not met, with the Public Ministry arguing against the transfer and the Court sustaining that the initial allocation of jurisdiction remained valid and lawful.
