The High Court of Cassation and Justice dismissed the request for the transfer of jurisdiction, leaving the case pending before the Court of Appeal of Oradea, thereby ruling in favor of the Public Ministry's opposition. The dispute involved a procedural motion by an Orthodox parish to transfer a civil lawsuit from its assigned appellate court, primarily premised on the assertion that the case had a scheduled hearing date in the court's electronic tracking system. The court decisively rejected the motion, denying the petitioner's request to alter the venue, resulting in no change to the original jurisdictional assignment.
