The High Court of Cassation and Justice declared the revision request admissibly perished, resulting in the final maintenance of the prior decision that had dismissed the original appeal as inadmissible. The case involved a company challenging a final civil judgment via a revision petition under Article 322(2) of the Code of Civil Procedure, arguing that the lower court had improperly failed to admit pertinent documentary and witness evidence. The Court applied the doctrine of *perimisie* (peremption), holding that the revision proceedings had remained inactive for more than one year due to the fault of the requesting party, thereby triggering automatic peremption under Article 248(1) of the Code of Civil Procedure, and ordered the proceedings to be closed pursuant to Article 252(1).
