The High Court of Cassation and Justice dismissed the plaintiffs' application to transfer the case (Dosar nr. 6566/94/2012) pending before the Buftea Court, with no further appeal; the transfer was refused, so the original case remains before that court. The dispute involved a request for case transfer based on alleged grounds of suspicion or local influence, opposed by the defendant homeowners' association and the prosecutor. The court found no sufficient legal basis under the applicable procedural rules on case transfer (strămutare), rejecting the application as unfounded.
