The High Court of Cassation and Justice admitted the joined requests for transfer of venue and ordered that the case in File No. 603/188/2009* be transferred from the Bicaz Court of First Instance to the Buzău Court of First Instance, preserving all procedural acts already performed and declaring the decision final and not subject to appeal. The court joined File No. 1649/1/2014 to File No. 1587/1/2014 because they had identical objects, pursuant to Article 364 of the Code of Civil Procedure, after noting that the petition was legally stamped; the petitioner's counsel supported the transfer, while the Public Ministry opposed it. The ruling was based on the statutory grounds for changing venue to ensure impartiality, with the court providing no further reasoning in the excerpted text.
