The High Court of Cassation and Justice dismissed the petition for the transfer of a case from the Oradea Court of Appeal to the Cluj Court of Appeal, rendering the decision final with no avenue for appeal. The dispute concerned a request to move a civil case based on the grounds of necessary retrial; however, the procedural review revealed that the underlying case had already been resolved by a judgment dated May 14, 2014. The decisive legal basis for the dismissal was the mootness of the transfer request, as a case that has already been adjudicated and resolved cannot be the subject of a transfer motion, rendering the petition inadmissible.
