The Tribunal da Relação do Porto dismissed the appeal filed by the assistant regarding the suspension of criminal penalty execution. The court held that the assistant lacked legal standing to act because the sentence did not condition the suspension of the 18-month prison term on the payment of the 6,552 contos civil indemnity. Consequently, the assistant's interest in the matter was deemed insufficient to grant them the right to appeal this specific procedural decision.
