The Supreme Court of Justice ruled that it cannot annul collective tribunal decisions under Article 712(2) of the Civil Procedure Code, though it may criticize the exercise of that power. In a paternity investigation, the court established that normal sexual relations between a man and woman imply copula, making an accusation of relations with the mother refer only to copula. Consequently, the paternity action was allowed only if evidence proves the mother maintained exclusive copula with the defendant during conception.
