Rural reform law does not bar property rights; wild occupations are mere facts without legal transfer of possession.
Legislator summary
AI generatedThe Supreme Court of Justice dismissed the request for review, ruling that the Rural Reform Law does not prevent the recognition of property rights. The court determined that mere wild occupations are factual situations that do not transfer ownership or even possessory rights. Consequently, the legitimate owner retains the right to demand recognition of their title and the restitution of the land.
