HLM Company v. Tenant: Appeal on Lease Termination Upheld
Synthèse Legislator
Généré par l'IAAn HLM company appealed a decision that upheld a tenant's right to remain in their housing, claiming the tenant had breached the lease. The highest court rejected the appeal, reasoning that the lower court had, based on its sovereign evaluation of the facts, correctly determined that the alleged actions by the tenant did not constitute breaches serious enough to legally justify the termination of the tenancy agreement.
